Headed by Chef Albert Taylor, a Mississippi native, we infuse every dish with love, fresh ingredients, and time-honored recipes.

Who is Chef AL?

Chef Albert Taylor grew up on the Westside of Mississippi with his mom and three siblings. Inspired by his mom's ability to create warmth and love through her cooking, Chef Al has always dreamed of sharing the same experience with other families. He began his culinary journey at an early age, helping his mom in the kitchen, mixing ingredients, and creating culinary masterpieces that would become the staples of Whatcha Kookin.
